I bought a Ibanez S series super thin and light guitar, not sure of exact model / specs, but guitar is set up great, it plays well with the low action, stays in tune, pickups are V1 in neck, and v2 in bridge. What is the body wood here? Is it mahogany, walnut? I was thinking mahogany. It has several scratches and dings, I would like to clean it up a bit, but not sure what to use. It appears it may have like a tung oil finish, I did just order $60 bucks worth of polish, the Fender/McGuiars perfection polish kit. I will try that on many of my guitars , but was just abit curious of this guitar, if anyone here knows anything, let me know.

That is mahogany, you can tell by some of the pores in the lighter sections.

I like those Ibanezes a lot, fairly nice sustain when considering the thickness, and very nice for the shoulder because of the weight.

That looks a lot liek the exact guitar I recenlty sold. Did you happen to buy that on eBay?

Nice one...looks like an Edge Pro trem on that too..not one of the shittier newer ones...good catch...change the pickups and you'll be even happier IMO.

That's an original Edge, and the current trems are fine (except for the Edge Zero and the ZR trems. I have no experience with those).

Those guitars play great. I always play a similar model at the store with a fixed bridge. I should just buy it already!

I sold this guitar in Rockford, IL around the time of this post. If you're still around and still happen to have this guitar I would love to buy it from you. I loved this guitar!! This is totally the one I sold, it has to be. It had the same scratches and missing switch cover. Let me know if you're still around so many years later!
