What would you do?

I suppose I would rewire the cab, yet I also agree with Zachman and using two 4X12's is just plain cool.

I haven't experimented with a set-up that has more than 2 cabs. However, that is my next order of business. Got enough 4X12's to do two heads with two 4X12's each.

Zachman, you are running 3 cabs wet/dry/wet correct? I am thinking two heads one wet, one dry, each with 2 cabs. Have you tried this kind of set-up? Don't necessarily want to hijack this thread, just curious...

It is an interesting question from the OP, and there are multiple options.

Yes... I am running w/d/w (3) cabs w/ (4) amp heads- each routed to the same middle dry cab, and a stereo power amp for the stereo wet signal. I have done what you're suggesting years ago, and approached it a few different ways, but realized that I wanted access to the effects through whichever amp I was playing through. I setup my rig so that one amp at a time was covering the "Core" amp sound, and then have the options of selecting pedals (in front of whichever amp is selected), and having whichever amp's selected signal (Line level off the speaker Load), then driving post amp effects like Delay, Chorus, Reverb etc..., and with the use of a Line mixer I can route the Dry signal into the wet cabs too.

Feel free to PM me about the routing

Thanks for the great reply Zachman. I will pm you to talk more.

All this fussin's how I arrived at two 2x12's with 16 ohms spekas.... :D
