What would you be doing with your life? What then could possibly take place of that passion for your hobby/profession?

I can honestly tell you I have no idea what my life would be. Guess I'd always be wondering why I felt so empty. Soul-less, really. I couldn't imagine.

just curious.

I've pretty much lost the passion for music; just not inspired to play, at the moment.

I'm filling the void by making more money (and spending less on gear)

Well my life would probably suck without the passion for listening and playing music (what little I do now compared to back in the days). On that note, I do have plenty to keep me occupied.

I'd probably spend all my time on gear forums instead of listening to and playing music. Oh...wait...

I'd be more into martial arts, probably signed into a second style. It would probably be cheaper, and I'd be in better shape.

I would have way more room in my basement and a larger boat.

Mine would be the same as it is now, Music is just background noise for me these days.

I have no idea where I'd be, or what I'd be doing. I've actively been playing music since I was 10. I had trouble in high school and left to tour for most of my teens. It's almost all I do and ever think about. I don't really have other interests or anything. I am weirded out by the fact that some of my friends don't really have hobbies, I wonder what the heck they do when they're sitting around at home. I'm never really bored, I always have a guitar nearby. The longest span of time I've ever been without an instrument was two weeks during a camping trip, and I ended up cutting that short due to not being around music. I actually spent a year living in a monastery and even then took a guitar and practice amp with me. I get irritable without music, it's as necessary as food and shelter to me. I'm 23 now, still young and don't know where my life is going to go at this point.

I don't think there would be any major change, but I was so lucky to have an uncle who force fed me music from the time I was barely able to walk. At the age of 5 or 6, i probably had 75 albums in my collection.

On the other hand, I work with guys who have absolutely no interest in music...and I'm not talking about playing music, I'm talking about nothing on their iphones, no CD's, no concerts. Most of them are only aware of what is played on the classic rock stations in town. I couldn't live like that.
