Just started ordering from them the past few weeks. Man...EXCELLENT customer service!!
I heard of them in the past but never used the company. Ordered something from them...the rep called me up and talked about the order personally. Very cool.

Just sharing in experience with them. Any other feedback here? ;)

Likewise, they go out of their way to personalize the shopping experience. Tell them what your interests are and they'll keep tabs on the scene for new products for you and give you updates. The sales guys basically treat you like the athlete and they're your agent. Can be pretty cool, just have to keep buying stuff hahaha

I like Sweetwater, but personally I find their sales follow-ups and random cold-calls to be a little overkill. Gets on my nerves sometimes. They're nice about it, but it's too much sometimes

Excellent service. Been buying international from the for years. My rep is Mike Arango. Good one on one service and if something is wait listed, he will let me know and give me a bump. They might do the same for everyone else. But still, it is personal service and I have never stepped foot in their store.

Yeah I was really impressed with their company. My Rep is Phil and he shoots me an email keeping me in the loop on status of the order. Not a 'generic' response from a company but a real guy sending it.
And every question I had He always answered back that day. Good stuff for sure!

They're follow-ups do seem a bit over eager. I've heard that they'll haggle off the website price if you call them.

I'm a fan. Ordered a few small things from them over the past few years ( drum software, accessories, etc) and they treat me like I've spent thousands with them. Just got a sweetwater card so that may happen now. :D

My only complaint is that they don't carry several of the brands I've searched for.

This.

I don't need a follow up call. That's the whole point of buying on the internet; so I don't have to deal with some dick. Just send me my shit, and don't open my box to put candy in it either...

That's a little negative. My only thing with them is u usually don't get sales or anything. sometimes they can cut a little deal for ya. Case in point: sometimes u get an extra 2 year warranty through them, which is cool

My sales engineer is pretty cool to deal with, and they will definitely match or beat any other price you can find.

My only negative experiences dealing with Sweetwater have been with their tech support. I've had issues a couple times with products that weren't functioning 100% on arrival, and prior to offering to replace the item, I've had to deal with multiple "tech reps" that really didn't seem to have good technical knowledge. Most recently, I received a new EVH 5150 iii 50w head, and there was a lot of hum when the effects loop was engaged. I explained in detail that the issue only occurs for the EVH, and I have the exact same pedals/cables/power supplies that I tested through 2 other amps with no issues. Tech's response was that I must not be familiar with tube amps, because that type of noise can be intermittent, and is the nature of tube amps. Basically had to threaten to just return the amp rather than just get a replacement before they would swap me.

Sweetwater is awesome. The only problem I have is the phone calls. They call a bit too frequently. It's nice to get a call, but once every few months is all I need.

I once called my Sweetwater guy and had him send me a 9 pin MIDI cable the night before a gig. It was on my front porch the next morning, and was quite cheap. Ever since then, they've been my go to for small stuff like that.

Stellar service every time I've dealt with them, which appears to be more and more often. I can drive 10 minutes to their competition, who I won't name but everyone knows, and they never even have basic things in stock that I need (really? no 7 string set of 9s carried in store in your whole chain?).

I'm with you guys. I don't like talking on the phone and don't answer numbers I don't recognize anyways. I do get a call from them every once in a while. I bought a LP Standard Plus from them a few years ago and I think that was my biggest purchase from them.

You guys know you can go onto the site and log in and change your settings, right? My guy is Greg Savino...I put it into the settings a couple years ago that I only wanted follow up emails and no calls...haven't talked to the guy since unless I call him. Stellar service, and you can haggle over the phone. All my plugins come from them.

This is true. Or....you guys could simply let the guy calling you know you prefer email, or that you don't want to be as often (or at all). They don't want to waste time calling you if it isn't wanted.
