Plus they send out that huge catalog that makes my wife nervous.

Love 'em! My guy is Arend. He does not bother me with unnecessary follow ups. He knows me well enough.

Yea man, that thing sits on my tub for three months at a time until the next one comes in. I need something to read when I'm doing my business.

Yup, always good experiences with Sweetwater, great customer service.

I've had 3-4 transactions with them. All very positive and they really went out of their way to lt me know they appreciated my business.
I highly recommend them.

They are great but some people complain about the phone calls and catalogs. It's easy to let it go to voicemail and I see it as fantastic customer service. They are terrible at haggling.

They really are the best. For all the reasons mentioned above. Plus, the candy

Exactly. I talked with my Sales Rep early on and he only calls after the fact for sales where he can sense I might want a follow-up. He does send me an occasional email (sometimes a call) to let me know about special items I may be interested in. I've purchased 90% of my gear through them. They will always match and, usually, beat any price I can get elsewhere. I ask for a discount every time. It never hurts.

It's also nice that I live 90 minutes from the showroom. "Standard" shipping for me means I get my stuff in one day. Going to Gear Fest is also pretty cool; I've been going for the last 5 or 6 years and will be there again this year...

No tax, free shipping, 24-month interest free on almost everything, and the occasional extra 10-15% off with a phone call...I say what's not to like?

I just ordered 12 sets of strings from SW. The box came with 11 sets. Not a big deal except there were initials of the guy that checked the order and then initials of a guy who supposedly double checked. Don't even put that in there if it is total BS. They did send me the missing set but I'd rather the double checker guy did his job.

They are a great company to deal with very nice guys wish they had a online used section.

Well, my $4k PRS custom 24 floyd came in on saturday from them. They did their "55 point inspection" but I guess the supposed tech had his eyes closed that day because he missed a twist in the neck. They were very friendly about it and they are usually pretty good. The PRS is on its way back to them for a full refund since they don't have anymore 10 tops in stock in the color I want

I ordered a ton of stuff from them. When I got the first follow up call, I told him I didn't want phone calls. I never got another one. I called about a rack unit that malfunctioned after less than an hour, and was told I'd receive a shipping label the next day, and was asked if I wanted an exchange or a refund with no trouble. They do have a 30 day, no questions asked return policy. Every time I call with a question, though, I punch in my 'reps' extension, and it immediately goes to his voicemail, then to a different rep. I don't care, I just find it funny that I've never spoke with my 'rep', but always the same guy, yet when asked why he isn't my rep, becasue I've spoke with him numerous times, he says 'because 'Joe' is your rep.

Follow up calls on a pickup purchase six months ago still pop up on my voicemail. No complaints otherwise.

I've had nothing but good experiences with them, even on an item that was returned. They only call me a couple of times a year, so its not a big deal. Their just doing their job. I'd be willing to bet they hate calling us more than we hate getting the calls

New sales guy called. Told him to send me lots of email spam. Seriously. Never heard back. Wont call him for next purchase

I found my PRS 24 Floyd 10 top at Sweetwater...a floor model which was I think $500 less than non-floor model. They got it to me the next day. Pretty standard stuff, but good customer service. Not too long ago, I ordered a pedal or something online, and the pedal arrived along with a box of the strings I use...I guess I had told the sales guy my string gauge when I was shopping for the PRS. I use an odd gauge (9.5s) so it was cool to get 10 free sets. Its not a huge deal, but it was nice of them.

I bought something small from them once, like a tool or something, at least five years ago. They still call me every so often

I almost never buy new off-the-shelf stuff anymore, but if I did, I would consider them since they're willing to haggle on price.

I've always had a great experience with SW. It's pretty much the only place I go for new gear.
I just received an email today that they are running the 36 month same as cash again. Aaaahhhhhh!
