I really enjoyed that album. Always liked Joe Holmes from his days with Ozzy. Does anyone know what happened to this band?

Yeah... i totally forgot about them. Released those tunes and disappeared.

Just tan the disk a couple days ago while plowing the 3 feet of snow we got. Killer disk. Wish he'd do something

Yep, I wore it out. Great album, great tones.

He’s recording a new album but with a new singer.

Glad to hear he's working on new music, but I really dug his singer.

Same here. I'm glad he's recording new music, but I really dug his singer. He had a Cornell vibe to his voice.

welcome to the music business post 2012 (or who knows the fuck when haha) ... unknown band releases killer album..No one hears it, said band vanishes

I'm not sure if Dave Phillips from LA Sound Design posts on here, but he knows Joe Holmes really well. He'd know what he is up to.

Joe spent years and a ton of his own money to make that Farmikos album. I think Joe is a monster player and the singer had a great Cornell vibe.... but to me they didn't really work together. To me the album had an outdated, almost grunge sound to it. I wonder how much label interest they got from it?

I wish Joe well. Killer player and a good fellow from what I hear.

That was part of the charm for me, grunge sounding songs like soundgarden AIC with a hard rocking Ozzy guitarist twist.
I feel like the singer could find his sound and hit his stride with a second album.

Just saw the post about new material and new singer. Interested and happy!

I heard the issue with that lineup was, the singer lived in the Midwest and did not want to move to California.

From what some people have said, the new songs from Joe's new album sound better than what was on Farmikos. I heard the new CD won't be released under the Farmikos name.

I think Joe should just make a video of him just jamming in his house or rehearsal spot...no band, just him on a 2-3 hour DVD/Blu-Ray. I'd buy 2 copies.
