Whatever happened to Missy Elliott?

I was going to respond but then I realized that the reason this topic was posted on RT was to evoke negative responses and then get personal with those who make them.

I wouldn't go so far as saying beautiful but she is very unique and talented.

I'm no fan, but she was more interesting than Wacka Flocka Flame or whatever else is cool right now.

There was some '90s popular rap I could appreciate though, like Busta Rhymes and Slick Rick.

She is good at what she does, but she seems like the kind of act that would flare up then fizzle out. Even people I think are really awesome like Snoop + Dre + crew, kind of flare up and fizzle out. Nature of the beast I think.

I was actually just thinking this same thing last week. Her and Nelly Furtado just sorta fell off the face of the earth.

She's still trying to find her way out of that trash bag from the video!

Her + trash bag = grave misfortune. She's already washed up though, so I don't have to worry about throwing her in a river.

Hope she slides out from whatever rock she crawled under just long enough to grab Black Guy's Pee and make them disappear forever, too.

I got kind of sad when I saw this thread. I had completely forgotten about her and I was hoping to keep it that way
What a smashing coincidence. We had totally forgotten about you too.

Wow, nice comeback. I must have underestimated who I was dealing with.

before i bought a drum machine, LONG before i had sirius, i used to put mtv on and jam to it, before mtv quit playing music that is.

i learned the most about my playing and capabilities there-in, whilst jamming out of my element to rap, r & b and country.....what was fun later was when girls would yell out songs during gigs and i'd pull off something from said song, or something damned close.

Good to see King Crimson is back to normal. This whole being a somewhat bearable guy thing was starting to freak me out.
