What's the Latest News on the E2?

I've been reading threads that are waaaaaaaaaaaaay old, and found the E2 was slated for a July '08 release. What's up with the E2 now? I now Bruce won't release something until he gets it perfect, so why hasn't it been released yet?

It sounds really cool though.

From the way Bruce made it sound the other day at the shop,the
E2 will be offered either with or without modules...Although pricing
had not been firmed up yet either way-Call Jeff@ Egnater for the
latest timeframe on delivery........

I think I remember seeing that they're trying to now get them out ready for next summer, so summer 09? And as stated before the pushback was due to a midi glitch and them fulfilling backorders on mod50s and m4s, and i'm sure with getting the egnater GC line up and running.

A while back I remember jeff saying that the first run of e2s will be sold fully loaded, but I'm not sure if that's changed or not. From what's been posted it seems like it may have been.
