I e-mailed Nate (as Bruce directed here in this forum) about my bad Tourmaster footswitch..
Nate said he would have to charge me for it...so I sent paperwork showing amp is only 1 month old..the he says for me to drive to G.C. (1hr away) to test out with another footswitch to see if mine is really bad...As far as I'm concerned it failed at a gig so it's bad..
I'll gladly send them this f'd up one...now make me a happy customer...if u please.

I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt here and say he's trying to determine whether it is actually the footswitch at fault or something in the amp at the footswitch jack or whatever. That would explain why he would want you to try the footswitch with another amp or the amp with another footswitch. If he sends you a new footswitch and the amp is bad its a waste of time and money.

amp works fine with or without footswitch....when I mashed down on the buttons, it would not change the channels unless I kept my foot down and pushed button all the way in and kept it like that....I know it's a bad footswitch...when I first got it unpacked, stuff was rattling around in there but it worked so I did not complain...it stopped working last gig in middle of show.....not good.

I have not had any recent issues with customer support at all.......did you call too?

no just e-mail....as of yet still no reply, and no ra #...

Hey Guys,

it's always protocol to test out different footswitches and cables with different amps as things other than just the footswitch can go bad. Cables typically. Nate unfortunately had an emergency and it's just me here so please email me at john@egnateramps.com and i can get you an RA# and anything else you need. Thanks for all your patience and understanding.
john

Thanks John...I will do so....just lost a bit of patience...I am very happy with my Egnater Tourmaster head so far and have been gigging with it so If you can understand my dilema that having a footswitch (which is not generic) that works is extremely important to me.
