What's up with Sweetwater and candy????

Ordered a pedal from Sweetwater, got it yesterday and there was some candy in the box!! I mean, I love atomic fireballs, but if I eat one am I gonna go on a "special" trip??? I just wanna make sure my bags are packed if you know what I mean.

:lol: :LOL: They spoil you with that shit! I was use to getting at least two Bit-O-Honey bars, and then you stopped sending them? All I got the last time was a few Atomic Fireballs and some Sweet Tarts... :gethim:
 
I always get bit o honeys are those are my favorite candy.
 
I order from them frequently. Like TrueTone, there were a couple of orders where I got Smarties and Atomic Fireballs, but no Bit-O-Honey. WTF?? I emailed my Sales Rep and gave him some shit (good naturedly...) and the next day I had a bag of Bit-O-Honey's in my mailbox :D
 
the last two orders i placed with them, had no candy in the box....... :(
 
LOL. When I heard about the "candy" I thought u guys meant like picks and stickers or strings or something. Not candy literally
 
I guess you guys don't order enough stuff. They send me a bag of weed with my orders.
 
Well I know which online retailer gets my business from now on.
 
I bought an amp from mailman, and he packed it with USED gay porn. He said it was his version of candy. The amp is still kinda sticky in spots around the input jack.

The candy is a psychological trick. If I want some I'll go buy it. I find my music purchases elsewhere and pay a good deal less that Sweetwater. They claim to not guarantee the best prices just supposedly fair prices. Candy is cheap, music equipment not.

My sales engineer has always been happy to match or beat any price I've found from another retailer.
 
Hint: Sweetwater will give you way better than deals if you go through their sales reps vs their online checkout. Highly recommend Arend (Loop is his user-name on Guitar Amp Board). He has given me some awesome deals and yes, always candy in the box too lol.
 
I used to work at an auto shop and the owner used to buy little shit like bulbs,fuses and hardware from this mail order retailer and his "sales consultant" would always include risque photos of herself in the box. Needless to say he ordered more useless shit from that place than we ever could use and his office was wallpapered with the bitches photos. Whatever works I guess.

I ALWAYS give my wife all of the candy that Sweetwater sends. Now, she "almost" looks forward to me placing an order with Sweetwater...almost. :no: :lol: :LOL:
