What's your favorite Celestion for 80s rock, classic rock, and just all around noodling?

Love the UK V-30s.

I‘ve got 16 ohm G12-EVH in my straight front 4x12s and they just sound f’n incredible.

The evh greenbacks are my favorite but I also like the 65 creamback

I may have to read up on those 65s. You're not the first person I've recently heard mention or talk about the 65 watters.

I have some g12-65s, UK GBs, and V30s. Also have a CB65m, my least fav. I like g12h30s a lot in open back combos or cabs, and dig the H75 quite a bit.
The 65s are the quietest, less barky than GBs, with more and smoother mid content. They really sing with some volume.
V30s are my fav. I'll always have one, but like to mix others with it.
I actually have 2 4x12s with the G12-65s, dated 1979/80. I'll probably be putting those cabs up for sale soon. May consider selling the speakers separately. Will also be selling some UK GBs.

I'm always a fan of UK V30s and the Marshall UK V30s. I have very old versions of both of them in my cabs and they all sound stellar.
