As the title states.....

I'm just beginning to build my home setup.

Arturia Audiofuse Studio for my interface.
MiniMac for computer.
FM9T in via SPDIF connections.

Still haven't settled on a DAW software....

49 key USB keyboard controller...

Got a few mics. DT770 headphones. Still undecided on monitors...

Pics show everything, but RME Fireface 802 is the heart of it all. Behringer channel strip for drums. Adam A7X monitors. Mesa cab has an SM57 and Lewitt LCT240Pro on it all the time. Easy peasy.

I also have a Driftwood Reactive Load for the occasions where loudness is a problem. Also have a whole set of Audix mics for drums, and actually a pair of the 57 and Lewitt for snare and OHs, too.

I recorded these 2 songs on this rig for my band Faces of Many.

This one was the EVH 100S.

And this was the Mesa Mark VII.

Mine is so parochial and I’m getting adjusted to it.

IR-J > Moto M2 > iPad > Logic

My next purchase would probably be a decent set of monitors.

Mics, 8 channel analog mixer, audient ID14, Reaper, plugs

Stupidly simple

Its more about the motion in the ocean with recording gear, to a certain point

What I want to happen:
Guitar into pedalboard. Pedalboard goes stereo to two amps and also has a DI output before the effects chain that goes to the interface.
Two mic'ed amps (normally a Marshall DSL and either a Mark V or a Fillmore) into v30 cabinets into the interface.
Interface: SSL12
Mics: SM57 and e906.
Running Logic on a 2014 iMac which I really need to upgrade.

What actually happens?
iPhone mic.

MacBook, Logic, Scarlett 2i2 & some M Audio monitors.

I was between mic’ing amps & using neural plugins for the longest time, I think the reactive load ir setup I have now is a good happy medium between the two.

Planning to upgrade monitors & interface soon, I had some older out of date hardware that I was using forever but my old PC was ready to retire so I went to a smaller rig for the past few years.

MOTU 24AO out to my console
Ferrofish Pulse 16 I/O to outboard and other gear
Reaper
Mac mini
External preamps
mics
lots of fucking around.

Tascam US2x2 and/or NI Maschine Mk3

Kali LP-6 monitors

Windows PC running Cakewalk

I have several mics but I don't even bother using them anymore

MAC Studio (pro tools)
Apollo X6
Focal Trio 6 monitors
AxeFx-III (the heart of routing pedals and amps in/out)
Several mics
Lots of plugins
