Are you still looking for the pickup?
I actually forgot it was in another guitar :ROFLMAO:
But always looking to be proactive, ya really would want to give it up though? What are you rocking in there now?

A ‘97 JEM7V

I’ve got a ‘95 MIM Strat but whodafuckcares.

Oh wait! I also have an ‘87 BC Rich NJ Series Warlock, it was my first guitar ever. Not the exact one, I traded that for a piece of shit pedal when I was 12. It had a standard Strat trem on it and I spent about 20 years looking for one, just for nostalgia’s sake. I happened to mention it on another forum at one point and a buddy had just taken one in trade, a Line 6 M5 later and it was mine. It’s in pieces right now waiting to be painted Cadillac Pink like my original one.

1975 Gibson L6-S

It actually plays and sounds very good after a trip to Jerry from Luxxtone for fret level, dress, and set up. I replaced the original electronics with a set of Suhr Aldrich pups. I got it to replace my first electric I ever played. Sadly the guy i sold my original one to destroyed it by trying to put a trem on it. We ended up burning it in a beach bonfire to give it a proper farewell:

Me circa 1978:

Any pic of the Duo-Sonic?

its been sitting in my closet for 20 years now, I just put a Lawrence 500 in it that sounds great so it’s just gonna sit in the closet another 20 if you don’t take it, you can have it

My dad still has the ranger so I can't snap pics of it, but here's the duo Sonic... Switches went bad at some point so I replaced them for him and did a setup and clean up for his bday a few yrs ago. Then he gave it to me a year later for mine.

1959 Melody Maker D. Feel like the LP case is circa 70, though. I can't seem to get a good picture of all the checking, but it's covered. Thank you for posting this thread @rsm It motivated me to take it out and play it (though for a shortwhile, it's late in my world). Holy, though. The whole guitar just sustains with the lightest touches and acoustically louder than a lot of acoustics. I get caught up sometimes in my latest gear to forget to appreciate the others as often as I should. ?

I have a 1960 one which looks similar. I got some locking tuners and strat pickups in it and it screams. Not a fan of the stock pickups.

My 2nd oldest guitar is a 1961 SG Jr but the '60 MM actually sounds better.

That's an awesome offer, but let me go through my pickup and pedal collection and maybe we can work out a trade of some sort if something interests you. Or if there's something specific you've been looking for I might have it. The bean counters tell me I need to keep my Karma balanced. I'll send you a list in the next day or two. ❤️

Very lovely! Is your MM an early 60 with the 59 specs like chunky neck and slightly bigger pickups(I see they've been swapped)? I really love the SG jr. but just have a modern LP jr in my library at the moment. It's still a cool one though TV yellow with ebony fretboard. Wish I had got into p90s a little sooner.

Yeah it has a 59 neck. It's a great LP Jr/Strat hybrid now with the strat pickups haha.
