What's your pedal of choice to drive a clean channel?

I have a lonestar special at home and the OCD sounds great into the clean channel. I have a pinnacle or a pinnacle 2 (can't remember which  ) at home as well that I don't have on my board. I can try that tonight when I get home. The RC booster sounds great but you will probably want more gain with it maybe along with the BB preamp though. Thats all I really have that I have tried with the amp. Again I know the lonestar special will sound different the the lonestar classic, but it might help you out a little.

The Wampler Pinnacle 2 will get a ton of gain if needed and it sounds really good with a clean amp...Van Halenish.
I have a lot of pedals I need to unload and that one is in the won't sell pile for sure.

I've read about those, how does it sound through a stock Marshall? thanks man

I have a JTM 'Bluesbreaker' 2x12 combo, so it's a bit different from a JMP head, but it sounds nice and rockin' with the JTM. With a JMP you'd have a bit more aggression.
It 'feels' really good with the amp and rolling off the volume works really well.

I made a quick recording of it a few weeks ago, I think it could be dialed in better next time, just a check clip.

I was thinking of toying around with another dirtbox to use on a Lonestar clean channel. I already have a BB but IMHO it works great on drive channels and puts them over the top. I'm thinking of something that can stand on it's own more on a clean channel.

That Purple PLexi by Lovepedal sounds like it has boat loads of gain. And i remember an Mi-Audio did well on the clean of a Suhr amp.

Believe it or not, my Marshall BluesBreaker II works GREAT w/ my Fender Super Reverb

Thanks, cool thing about this pedal is that it has meat to it. A lot of distortion pedals I've tried don't have that warmth which is great for singles and p90's. It has more high mid cut than this and I think I'd add a bit more to this clip (from hearing it) to play with a band....but the characteristics of it's distortion are there if you dig it. It's a keeper for me, very cool pedal.

The stock MM90's in the EBMM are about mid output.

My favorite I've ever tried was my old '71 EH Triangle Big Muff with original FS36999 transistors. That thing soundly godly, thick, sustain for days. Could do everything from Gilmour leads to grunge type OD.

Wish I still had it, but I couldn't turn down a collector's offer of $700 for a pedal I got for $150.

If you can afford it, the Suhr Riot or Tonefreak Severe will be great.

On a budget nuthin beats the MI Crunch Box into a clean Ch.

+1 on the Riot and Severe. I heard a Severe through an Uber on clean and it was monstrous. The clips I have heard of the Riot are great aswell.
