It was gonna be.....

I like my women like I like my coffee. Ground up and in the freezer.

But I have retired all my serial killer t-shirts.(I have one that has that phrase printed on it somewhere)

The really good gear always costs a fortune. And none of it will make me a better player.
I stopped trying to find my "special tone" many years ago. I'm sure I would be happy with
a $1,500 guitar into a $1,000 pedal board, into a $3,000 amp hooked to a $1,000 cab.
But that wasn't going to happen.
So I have been making noise with a $700 guitar into a $200 amp for years.
I'm the opposite of the rest of the people on this forum.

The BOSS Katana head will probably be such a huge upgrade for me... I won't know what to do with myself.

Hey man, those Stealths are nice 3 channel amps. I used to find them for 50-100 bucks and flip them on ebay years ago, I'd take one over the Katana. Jeff Blando of the Vince Neil band used to be endorsed by Crate and played the Stealth behind his Marshall stacks. Lee Jackson circuit. I used one as a backup 8 years ago. Great loop, clean channel and very quiet.
