Wheatgrill is being phased out!

Apparently the wheat grill is being replaced by the salt and pepper grill, and the tolex covering on all heads and cabs will be the same style that is used on the Goldfinger. End of an era.
 
Dang! Still not sure if I like it or not on my new Shiva. I got the swirly tolex with the salt and pepper cloth and it just doesn't seem as cool as the black and wheat. Maybe I should scoop up a headshell before they discontinue them all together.
 
I dig the salt & pepper look, but would it really be that difficult to keep them both available as options? :confused:
 
The wheat grill will stay on as an option, but will be a custom order item. The ecstasy 101b faceplates have been changed as well. It only says "Ecstasy" with a different style of cursive, as opposed to reading "Ecstasy by Bogner".
 
I've seen the new tolex; not a fan at all. Looks like a cowboy thing. Who wants that with their new Uberschall? :doh:
 
Bummer. The new tolex is kinda dumb.

They should keep the new yin-yang tolex for their smaller international combos, that's it.
