Fuck yeah! There has to be a connection between long hair and rock 'n fucking roll, cause when he cut it all of he went down hill. :lol: :LOL:

I remember when I was kid they used to play this awesome Dont Mess With Texas commercial on TV with Ian ripping it up on a strat and lightning striking. It was rock as fuck. :rock:

funny! Dude when i saw that cat at a small club during that period, i seriously thought he would be as popular as a Johnny Lang or John Mayer..blew my head off! fucking great tones!

Nah, I'm sure anything that guys puts out will have music quality/substance behind it...Its just a shame because Kenny Wayne Shepard really got the attention at that time and was way more into Ian..all good.

Well all thought he was going to blow up! He just never did. :confused:

And then he moved to Seattle and started doing acoustic stuff.

Ive heard one of his newer albums and it was good, but he didnt rip it up like he used too. Went more the contemporary rock way IIRC.
 
hahaha A blast from the past. I used to love Ian's music then he went all singer/songwriter or something. He pretty much lost me after Green Grass. Still puts out great tunes but does rock like he used to.
