When Tom Morello tries to play with real guitarists...

This thread is like the Snap On truck just pulled up. More tools than I know what to do with. But I love it. Haven’t laughed out loud this much in a while.
However you feel about him now, not many people get to say they were on an album that changed popular rock music. I can still remember where I was when I first got it (WBCN studio in Boston), who gave it to me (Metal Mike Colucci) and probably listened to nothing but that CD for at least two weeks. In fact that time period was crazy for records like that. Rollins End of Silence and Helmet Meantime were like that for me too.
 
i just gotta believe something happened to spawn the hate some people have of a dude they never met before, maybe the cute girl with the RATM shirt gave them a chance but they put on Yngwee or some shit and scared them off and now they forever blame Morello, maybe they got beat up at the high school party when they turned off People of the Sun and put on Lynch Mob or some shit while everyone was moshing off the walls of some dork whos parents went away for the weekends house, something happened
 
While I can appreciate the grooves, riffs and techno guitar tricks of the 90's that Tom Morello has written and performed have been enjoyable in their own right you gotta admit he kinda faceplanted onstage with Steve Vai and other greats. I watched the clip and Vai just kinda took over after Tom's solos and said...."Let me show you how it's done son!" :LOL:

Geo doesn't do naunce or irony dude. He roots his identity in victimhood and sees the world in black and white. No one can have views from either side at once.
Getting upset about Tom's playing via politics, is snowflake behavior.

If he flipped his guitar up to reveal "SLEEPY JOE IS A CUCK" then suddenly the solo would of sucked alot less.

Neo-tribalistic mokey-brain group think. Move on!

Honestly I think any artist that pushes their political views hard (no matter what they are), so hard that it over shadows their music sometimes, they’re going to be polarizing and elicit negative responses. But as much as we jab each other on here, I don’t think I’ve ever saw anyone say an artist or anyone else can’t say what they want, but I never read or care to read the OTC so maybe I’m naive.
