I was waiting today for a grail cab to arrive that i bought while traveling this past week. UPS driver pulls up to my front door and I was thrilled to see that truck so early in the day. …. He checks his handheld…. “I’m supposed to have a large parcel to deliver, but, it’s not been loaded on my truck. It may be coming on another truck, or, left back on the dock”. Periodic check-ins on the site showed “out for delivery” by 6PM. No show… just “Reschedule Delivery Requested”. Not the first time something like this has happened, and it usually always works out fine. I’m particularly focused on this delivery: 1972 1960B with a nice rock n roll patina… and, most importantly, 4 incredible OG Pulsonic Greenbacks, all with matching date codes.

Heres some pics:

Whenever clients ask me why I put doping around the dust cap, I always tell them "Cuz that's how they used to do it back in the Pulsonic cone era." Your speaker cone pics are proof of that. Nice score on the cab!

Thanks, Jim! Once the cab arrives safely (I carried the speakers home with me, … wasn’t gonna risk UPS handling them in the cab), I’ll be ordering a set of your metal handles to upgrade from the plastic. Hopefully, tomorrow / Tuesday?

No problema, I have 400 of them in stock. Check to see if your plastic handles are riveted in or attached with wood screws. If they're riveted, get the screw kit with the T-nut. If they use wood screws, you can probably re-use those if they're not stripped or hogged out.

Short-lived UPS-stripper drama… the cab arrived a few hours ago after being incognito in UPS’ system all day. A couple of nice hatchet wounds to the box, but… no damage to the cab. Got the speakers installed, wired up, and checked ohm readings on thé pairs and quad.… good to go! Had a little time to try the whole rig… all I can say is “Wow!“ (@Scumback Speakers… handle order placed).
