I think I just had an audio induced seizure. This is like schizophrenic autism elevator rock with a dash of ADD. Talented no doubt, but all of the songs are really beginning to sound the same while simultaneously going in too many directions. Though this one did seem to have a bit more focus than usual. The Vai appearance seemed a bit awkward, tbh. Not trying to bash, but cut those tunes down to 30-45 seconds and they could be looped into video game backgrounds.

I really dont understand this so called music, sounds like a ninja turtle on crack video game with some funky bass. Where's the music that makes u feel good ala van halen or music that keeps me from hurting someone/blowing off steam ala pantera. I just dont get it. Maybe I'm old?

When Tim was 12 bet he was easily blowing through Cliffs of Dover.

A decade from now a generation of 12 year olds are gonna be playing GOAT like it's nothing.

At 17 I could play Rush's Hemispheres from beginning to end.
There's more notes in this Scale the Summit song than that entire album!

I read an article with Vai and he said he was surprised they edited his solo the way they did. It didn’t sound like he was too happy about it.

I’m not sure what you do with this type of music. I can’t imagine any situation where I’d listen to it. Maybe use it as background music in a movie or video game?
