If I am correct, wasn't this amp on display at the last Namm show. Anybody have any info as to where this amp is production wise ?

Aren't current estimates on this board somewhere around 2028?

I am surprised the Camerons finally came out. I hope some of you new Cameron owners post some good clips that capture the amp better than what has been posted. (Versatility)

I Hope soon, cant wait to try these out.. but man, I thought my Mark IV had alot of knobs.. this thing looks like your operating a cockpit

They were supposed to arrive last April but obviously Fryette was not satisfied. At least you know the final product is gonna be worth the wait. Cameron as well. Man, I can't wait to get my hands on those amps! It's giving me wood. :jedi: :force:

The last I heard is it might be only a few weeks, but I'm not holding my breath.

I hope it's soon. I want to throw one of these next to a Savage and see how they compare.

I have one question.
Why does the VHT CLX list at $4500.00 and the SIG-X lists at $2800.00 ?? Big difference there.... Cheaper parts? Cheaper/easier building process?
Anyone know?
Can't wait to try one! I think this might be the VHT for me!!!

I wondered about that too, they had to cut some costs somewhere. I'm sure it'll be built well, but where did they find a way to cut 2k off an amp?

I REALLY wish it had EL34's instead of the KT-88's though.

Marcus from VHT said part of the pricing difference is not having the 5 band eq (because you don't need it with all the switches and knobs on the Sig X). I think he said shipping in May but, I could have been mistaken (could have been March).

With that being said... I went on Saturday morning to try it and I didn't really like it after spending 5 minutes twiddling knobs. Went with Ralph this time on Sunday and we went up to Steve F and asked him to demo it for us. He went thru about a 15 minute demo of the amp. Now the amp made sense to me and it DOES produce great tones. I don't know if I'd choose it over my U-L but, I did walk away thinking I'm glad I came back to give it another try because I wasn't being fair.

The Sig X is like a mixture of the U-L and the Deliverance tonewise but, with more features than both put together AND they're all usable. From a features sense I'd choose it over a U-L/CLX. I just started getting used to my U-L so I'm pretty partial to it. There are more tones inside the Sig X though and a very impressive thing was how Steve F was able to get the lead channel to sound like the clean channel  Tight amp so practice your picking skills before you audition it :scared: Clear as heck too! Jazz chords sounded good with the gain using the lead channel... not something your average amp can do.

$2K for an EQ :scared:  I'd just put a boss in the loop for $60 thank you.

i just placed a order for a sigx the other day, i figure i wont have it till summer or fall lol ;)
i really hope it can produce some nice modern metal tones, from the vid i seen it can do rock stuff but i would like to hear from the metal guys that played it.

They should be paying you interest as long as they've had your money.

I only put a 100 down-I have 4000 waiting for the VHT-THD amps. I would have bought a deliverance - to hold me. If I would have known it would take this long.
