Where are the bias test points on Rebel 20 head?

Merry Christmas to all of you out there!!!
Thought that would be a good begining,... Anyway, I'm trying
to bias some new power tubes in my rebel head. I thought
I was putting my multimeter probes in right spots , but I
only got a reading of 0.
So... Here's what I was doing... I would take the "black"
probe of my meter and stick it to the chassis. While inputting
the "red" probe on the little red plastic encased tube labled
"El 84 tp".
In short, is this right? Or am I missing something here.
Any insight on this procedure would be helpful as I have tried
to E-mail Nate and he hasn't gotten back to me , probably
because of the Holidays I'm sure.
Thanks for any info people!!

Yup - You have the right test points. I forget whether I set my multimeter to milliamps or volts to take the readings, but you can check different settings on your meter until you get a reading. You're on the right track.

To me it just seemed universal to take my "black" multimeter probe and stick it to the chassis,
But, I was reading a post about the bias process for the Rebel 30 combo with the pictures shown. It was saying that there is a " common" test point to where you place your "black" multimeter probe.
The circuit board layout is of course different on the Rebel 20 head and I see no " common"
test point listed anywhere on the board.
Wish someone that has done this to their Rebel Head, would chime in here, but again with the holidays and all it's understandable. Who wants to be lurking, surfing, and doing internet research during Christmas..... Loosers!!! Oh, wait, that would be me!!! LOL!!
Merry Rockin' Christmas everyone!

On the Rebel 20, you can just ground your black lead to the chassis, like you said. That's how I biased mine. Stick the red lead on the test point, like you did, and you should get a reading.

I just don't remember what scale I was using on my multimeter when I took the readings, I think I had it set to read DC volts.

Power on, let it warm up a few minutes (with your meter hooked up) and the reading should have stabilized by then. I hope this helps.

Ok... just an update for everyone that was following along here...
What I was doing wrong, was trying to put my "black" probe to an area that had been factory painted! As soon as i had gotton off of the phone with Nate ( I believe) at Egnater. I realized my mis-step.
Might I say too, what a pleasant surprise and great conversation I had with him.... On Christmas Eve day no less....
So ....in another new thread I'll post my process and results.
Thanks to the few that chimed in with advice. Everyone have a rockin' safe New Year!!
