How about if he doesnt even have a drill to do the scumback handles?
Lots of the Marshall cabs used wood screws, some used rivets. Worst case scenario is you punch/drill out the rivets, tap in the 10/32 T-nuts, and you could hand tighten the machine screws with a regular Phillips screwdriver.

No offense man but for $60 + another $5 for hardware " that can be bought for cheaper" they should mount right in without any hassle.
As for buying handles cheaper, sure, you can buy the others cheaper. They aren't made with metal that's as thick, the paint scratches easily vs my baked on finish, and they don't fit without using a jig saw in most cases (I've never seen any that did fit the old bolt holes, BTW). So dowel up the old mounting holes, let it set/dry for a day, then drill out the cheaper handles bolt hole pattern, and put them in.
Not sure how fast you are with a drill, but pulling a back panel, disonnecting, or unsoldering the speakers, taking the top two speakers out so your jig saw/router/whatever clears, then jig sawing the cab, redrilling the mounting holes and then cleaning up before you put on the cheaper handles is going to take a bit more time than most would want to spend on replacing handles. I guess it all comes down to what your time is worth, or isn't, and how much you labor you want to put into it. If it takes you 4-5 hours to swap the cheaper handles, I think that's more than the difference (even at minimum wage) of cost between the cheap handles and mine.
I certainly have done it the hard way, many times. Punching out 12 rivets, or drilling them out with a 1/4" drill isn't too tough. And if you have wood screws (as many Marshall cabs did, 800/900's, etc), then it's just a Phillips screwdriver you can use by hand.
As for them not being a direct bolt in, I guess you forgot that once you pop a rivet you have to replace it in most cases, so it's going to be up to the fastener used on your cab previously that dictates that. So in that case NO handle is a direct bolt in, right?
As for the quality/fit/finish/etc of my handles, they are much better than anything I've seen on the market. If you'd seen them in person, you'd know that, too. I guess you haven't.
But hey, like I said, this was just for the OP's benefit. My handles are one option if you want that type of old school look with the chrome grab bar, quality, fit and function, but there are certainly cheaper options if none of the benefits I've outlined make sense to you.
By all means, get out the jigsaw!
