Yay... now I don't feel so alone anymore when I tell people Jake is my favorite Ozzy guitarist. :rock:
 
Haven't read the whole thread but remember this crap? I mean, after Badlands i expected something halfway decent, not this disaster.

 
Anybody got an ID on that amp in the background of those two videos?
 
I don't wanna be a prick here, but seems to me like ol' Jake's a has-been with this current troupe. Not being an asshole, just saying... Ya ya, he kicked before - like, 30 years ago. But times change and unless you change with 'em, ya get left behind. The music was hurtin' in my HUMBLEST of opines!!

is it me or does jake looks like jimmy page's illegitimate son. or maybe they just both look like old chubby japanese women?
 
I'm embarrassed for him in that cover band in LV, he sounds like canned-ass.

Jake needs to get it together or quit altogether

Ya its true, Jake is playing in a small cover band at local bars here in Las Vegas. He lives near me, I run in to him every now and then, but I don't get the impression that he's doing any drugs. Back in the 80s, I saw him play with Ozzy in the Boston area. the stadium was sold out. I never once thought that 25 years later he would be living down the street from me playing small bars. It would be really cool if he could have some sort of come back. I saw him play at MR Ds here in town. he still can play like a god. :D

Ozzy offered him a spot in the band sometime around '93-'95 when Zakk was doing Pride and Glory. Jake turned him down. It seems like he doesn't want to make a come-back. If he did, he would. :dunno:

I believe his mother is Japanese-American.
