Where is the Pink Taco??

What amps are on the horizon for Friedman? The Meat Curtain 100 watter? How about the sloppy mud flapper or nappy dugout?

Am I the only one who thinks that these smaller amp companies need to start thinking about releasing new products in a different way? Why take a product to NAMM and start the hype and then take pre-orders and then fail on the delivery date? I realize maybe they need the capitol from the pre-orders to actually manufacture the product, but it just seems to prove to be a bad business model over and over again.

Keep rewarding the business model and there is no incentive to change it.

I agree but it is not just the small builder
Egnater comes to mind to by bringing the
Same amp to 3 NAMMs and still not releasing it

Well the pink taco really isnt very late. And about ten have shipped and just because they guys who have got them immediatley didnt run to a guitar forum to announce they had one, people think Im just making shit up. As to the smaller companies and im not knocking any of these companies, but Egnater isnt small and they have been showing the same 3 amps for the past 3 years and they announced new models a couple of years ago. The Suhr Hedgehog was announced 4 years ago with consistent statements by John over the years that it was going to be released and its still MIA.. Geez, pick any Bogner amp and you have at least year delay from when they said it would ship. It took us a year after announcing the Dirty Shirley to get that out and thats a simple one channel amp. Amp manufacturing is a tough unpredictable business, you rely on alot of factors beyond your control to come through in a timely manner and of coarse they never do.

Dont get me started on the Cameron CCV

And we forget about amps for a while and talk about that avatar?

Oh and for the record we as a company took no pre orders to fund the project. What the other dealers are doing is out of our control.
