Never played the S but have played a couple standard VH4s and also recorded with one. HOLY HELL, what an amp!

Not sure....but man....thats my next Diezel purchase for sure. Sold my VH4S to buy a Herbert....
and regretted it ever since. :(
So cool how you can dial in the Presence and Depth seperately on 2 different cabs. :thumbsup:

WAIT!!!! To the OP!!!!!! Just an FYI, I'd suggest TRYING ON the VH4 first and foremost before DELVING into the Stereo version (VH4S).

That's all I'm gonna say :D

They're difference animals. Awesome animals, but very very different.

I figured the 4S would a whole other animal altogether.

I have to get my hands on a VH4. Listened to clips last night and Channel 3 is exactly what I want opposite my Friedman.

Herbert sounds bitchin' too. I watched Zach's demo of it and the mid cut is sweet.
 
VH4 to start. Herbert, Hagen, D-Moll and the rest to flavor.
