So I just bought an MCP Angel Dust bridge and wanted to pair it with a Hot Head neck I had laying around in either my Suhr Modern Satin which has a Mahogany body or my Skervesen Raptor which has an Ash body/Spalt Maple top, and was wondering which guitar you guys think would better suit this set of pickups?

When I asked Wade about the Angel Dust for a bright sounding superstrat guitar of mine, he said it would be too bright and not a good match.
So whichever of your guitars sounds darker/thicker would be my preference.
But you never really know how it's going to turn until you try it.

Some info about the Angel Dust from another thread, not posted by me:
"The Angel Dust is very unique. It sounds like an amazing version of an old Duncan JB, but more clear and punchy without the super mid spike. This is a high output pickup, with a definite mid spike (but not as harsh as a JB) for a really snarly, angry tone. Slightly less output than Afwayu and Torque, but with a little extra mid and a little bit of the crispy high treble of the Torque, but not as much. It has a little more note definition than the Torque. I still have to hear this pickup some more, it really surprised me how much I dug it."

Did you buy the Angel Dust bridge new from Wade or used? I recommend putting it in the Suhr Modern Satin.

Yes, this is definitely the description of the Angel Dust.

I bought it used. The only reservations I have about putting it in my Suhr is that it already sounds quite good with the stock pickups (SSH+,SSV neck), but maybe it could sound even better with the Angel Dust/Hot Head set? The Skervesen has a set of BKP Mules, which sound okay but the Detroiters in my SG and Wolfetone Marshallheads in my Framus Panthera beat the Mules in every way for my taste. I don't find the Skervesen overly bright with Mules but definitely bright with tons of tightness and attack (but that's probably becasue of the guitar not the Mules), but maybe it would be brighter with the Angel Dust?

I think the AD will sound better than the SSH++, but I am biased since this is my favorite bridge pickup. The Angel Dust will definitely be brighter in the Skervesen Raptor IMO, but it may not be that bright for you. Is it a neck thru or bolt? I have the AD in the following guitars and all are alder body with maple bolt-on neck and all Floyds except for one. Of course the pickup sounds different in all of these guitars. Same characteristics, but slight tonal change due to the guitar.

Luxxtone El Machete 22
CS Charvel
MIJ Charvel SoCal
Carvin Bolt (Wilkinson/Gotoh trem)

It's neck-thru. The neck is Rosewood with Ebony stringers and an ebony fretboard
