Which multi effect floorboard are you using?

How are you switching the 5150III? I ask because the Nova or something like the M13 will switch channels via MIDI too. I rate both but prefer the M13 for more versatility.

I'm sure one of the Boss units would do this too.

I use a GT10, just for effects. The ability to place things where I want them in the chain is the clincher for me. The Amp models are poo, but I dont care, some of the effects are great - I use it for pre-distortion effects, like Wah's, phasers, univibes, pitch stuff...on board reverbs are meh...

Is there anything modern out there besides the Line 6 m13,m9 that has some good effects and boosts that does not have amp emulations? The damn amp emulations and having to disable them is pretty much what has kept me from getting a mid range efffects processor, My amp tone is great and there is no way i would ever want to use any digital modeling...
any ideas guys?

I have a ADA midi controller.

So I could use the M13 to switch channels on my Rm100? or RM4? they both have midi switching.

I'm using a G-System with my 100 watt and 50 watt 5150 III. Sounds great with both. New it's not in the price range you mentioned maybe used. But in the price range you mentioned I would recommend the Nova System. The same pristine effects of the G-System in a smaller cheaper package.

I'm currently using a Zoom G9.2tt effects floorboard running 4CM into an ADA Depot 3TM mod MP-1 preamp. I run the Zoom's output into the effects return of Reverend Goblin 1x10 combo amp. I also run the Zoom 4CM with my Marshall 6101 combo amp. It has a bit of a ground loop issue though so I run the Zoom's output into a Palmer Line Isolation Box and into the Marshall amp's effects loop return.

The G9.2tt covers all effects before and after the amp. I set the mix of the reverb/delays/modulated effects in the effects loop either 100% wet or mix to taste depending on the sound or the amp rig that I'm using that day. I use the Zoom as MIDI controller/tuner mute plus it has a second function to access individual effects on/off manually like a pedalboard. Very underrated effects floorboard. I also have the Nova System and am working on programming it to work with my W/D/W guitar rig.

I use the HD300 and only use it for effects. It's really easy to bypass all the modelling. There's an "FX Only" button right on the unit.

I had one of these for a hot minute. Seemed cool but I honestly was fed u with effects units and my inability to program them. Great value for dollar unit though.

The 5150 III 50w model is MIDI compliant, and programming it to change channels with the Nova couldn't be more simple.
