I've had the Bud-wah original for about 12 years, pre-Peavey. It can get a bit harsh/bright in some applications with my setup. I don't use wah a ton, but maybe looking for something different. I play mostly dirty blues to hard rock, early metal ala Metallica.

Cheers!

I'm a wah fiend but I just can't get rid of my Zakk Wylde wah for gain. I even like what it does to the tone in the signal chain. Just can't get that visceral and meaty thing out of anything. Can go too low, but I used some velcro spacer to prevent it.

The BBE Ben Wah is a killer wah. True Bypass and reminds me of the old BudWah. Also has an adjustment on the side for the travel.

Ever try a Vertex Axis wah?

:D

The wah Padre Bionic made for me beat out all of the RMC wahs and Fulltones wah. Plus it was a lot cheaper.

Agreed! I've been using my Ben Wah for around 10 years now...the longest owned pedal I've got.
