If you want/need more evidence that modern white liberals are hopelessly fucked, woke, retarded morons, simply Google "Jimi Hendrix politics".

It's fairly well known that while Hendrix was a "Flower child" he was also more than a little conservative. He regularly criticized The Black Panthers and "Civil rights activists. Not that he didn't experience and believe racial injustice existed, he believed that the reaction to it was wholly political, violent and misguided. Jimi said something to the effect of " Music is stronger than politics. I feel sorry for the minorities, but I don't feel a part of one. And I think the answer lies in music".

Anyway, reading what 30 something, white, liberal, music and music history writers have to say about it is enough to make you ill.
 
It's been published that the black panthers took him hostage in some kind of attempt to extort money or political support from him, so there is no love there.. It's been suggested that is also the reason Cox quit because he dropped acid and while official biographers claimed he was very paranoid as a result, it was likely driven by that kidnapping of Hendrix, and the people who surrounded him at that time. It may also have been driven by his manager Mike Jeffries who was intelligence tied long before he managed bands and was seeing Hendrix wanting to slip from his control contractually.

So Hendrix breaks free anyways and wind up choking to death on bottles of wine that were forced down his throat and his loving girlfriend at the time lied about the incident and when she was subpoenaed to court in decades later she killed herself before appearing. Sounds like a life insurance policy was more profitable than a future not running the Hendrix machine for Jeffries. This seems pretty common place throughout 65 years of pop culture with a lot of youthful celebrity "overdoses". Jeffries later dies in a plane crash and is only identified by jewelry. All the main Hendrix related bank accounts were run from Nassau which at the time was more or less invisible financially. Pretty crazy stuff no matter how you look at it.
