The Navy Seals? Deltas? Swat?

I'm talking about THE elite group NO ONE fucks with.......the most brutal/specialized, etc etc?

I knew an ex Navy Seal, and that guy looked like he was made of stone. The dude had no facial expressions, no nerves hehehe damn!

The United States Marine Corps

Semper Fidelis

In all seriousness, no one fucks with salty ass Marines, not SEALs, not Army Spec Ops, nobody

Also there is no SWAT per say in any of the armed forces. While you do have security forces, scout snipers, and specialized small units, none of them are "SWAT" teams. It is a police term to describe "Special Weapons and Tactics," mainly used for hostage situations and/or serving dangerous warrants that normal police could not exercise otherwise

I have no idea, but I was friends with a Recon Ranger and that cat was crazy   . I was in the truck with him and this dude walking away from a 18 wheeler waved us down. He was giving us this story about running out of gas and needing money. Sounded like a bunch of crap, but my friend threw him a couple of bucks. Then the guy starts getting all pushy and saying we were holding out on him. Well this dude was about 1.2 seconds away from getting blasted. After the guy walked away my friend looked at me with he crazed (and I mean crazed) look in his eye and said something like "I was gonna blow that mf-er away! Do you think I overreacted?" I can't say the Recon Rangers are the toughest or anything, but that's one dude I wouldn't want to cross.

Then there was this dude that used to come to the gym. This dude was just on another level. My Recon Ranger buddy even knew who this guy was and that he was someone not to F with. We always thought he was some ex-CIA dude because we knew he worked for the government at one point, but he never flat out would say. When I was in high school me and my workout partner would get him to show us different fighting techniques where the bags were and stuff. Dude would totally get into that stuff. It wasn't too uncommon for him to go off about how the cops make it too hard to kill people in public these days and how they get in the way of doing your job and what not. That dude is the toughest and by far the most intimidating guy I've ever known.

Not USA. But check out what that nutcase Kim Jong iL made his bodygaurds do.

uhhh, there is no such thing as a "recon ranger" in the United Stated military. You have USMC force reconnaissance as well as reconnaissance platoons (though now they are being grandfathered/moved over to MARSOC). You also have US Army Rangers. There is a Ranger school that MANY soldiers attend, but only a few are actually accepted into the 75th Ranger regiment which is the actual SOCOM commanded unit in the Army. All the other "Rangers" are Ranger tab qualified and is more or less accepted as an advanced infantry training school

I jumbled my terms up, it was kind of early when I typed that :D . He was a Recon Marine.

Overall, I'm going to go with SEAL, just because the way they're usually sent deep into a hostile area in small numbers where they're usuallyl greatly outnumbered, and take out a specific objective and leave before anyone knows they're there. That takes balls of steel.

That said, when you've got a group of insurgents/enemy of whatever kind holed up in a city or neighborhood, nothing is more deadly than the Marines coming to town. IMHO of course.

I've got good friends and family that are Army, Air Force, Marines and a Navy SEAL, and they along with any individual that has served/serving get nothing but respect from me for that service to their country. I think they're ALL bad asses.

I have hung with Marine Recon, Rangers, and of course was deployed with a Seal team during my stay with the Navy. Had a Seal instructor from Coronado Island bunk with me for 5 months while I was at training in San "club" Diego as well. After all of this is said and done it is the individual that makes the man, not the rate or service. Any memeber of any of these groups would tell you the same thing in the end, of course there is great pride in their rate as well but in the end they are all shipmates working for one cause.

My two stories,

Back in the 80s when I am cheffing around I worked with a former Marine Recon guy Tony, RIP due to suicide, and we would always talk about his days in the corps. One night we are loaded and we are talking and one thing led to another and we are in his front yard with no shirts on ready to wrestle a bit.

I was 6'0" 200 pounds and built at the time, he was 5'9" MAYBE and around 155 pounds. I took the beating of my life   I mean I was just totalled, his speed and strenght were just stupid and at the time I was putting up 305 4-5 times on the bench.

2nd story I am hanging with that instructor from Coronado Island and we are hanging at the local watering hole outside the Island....can't remember the name. 2 bikers show up and right away you can tell that these two Harley assclowns were maybe seeking a right of passage cause they started to fuck with this one guy that while you can tell was cut up pretty good was smaller than the two bad bikers. I ask if this guy is going to need any help and my friend just smiled and told me to grab my beer.

The right of passage turned out to be a ride in a meat wagon for team Harley with 3 dislocated shoulders, a broken forearm, and a knee that was probably in a brace for 6-8 months

When I went to boot camp there were around 20 guys going to BUDS after pass and review, I only know of ONE guy that wears the Trident.

"Kim Jong Il is a crazy little man Kenny, he's gonna blow up da world. He's cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs."

When I was in Navy EOD back in the 80s, I was stationed in the Philippines (EODMU5). We went on quite a few ops with SpecWar guys (SeALs) from NSWU1. Those guys were some serious badasses and very good at what they did. Most of them were also pretty good guys.

The guys from the Royal Australian Navy Clearance Dive Team were another group of badasses.

Wait, so the dude got shot 14 times point blank by AK47's....THEN took out 5 insurgents?

most of them in the kevlar as the story was told. Hey I wasnt there WTF do I know, just recounting what I was told. They had no reason to lie to me, embellish maybe but probably not.

I had a buddy once in the Air Force who flew F-16's. He was doing a misson one night when all of the sudden the jet stalled out. He was forced to eject. When he ejected, his parachute didn't deploy. He didn't know what to do. At 15,000 feet in the air, he didn't have time to make a decision...

So falling toward earth he thought of a plan. If he hit the ground running, literally, he might just have a chance to survive!

So, when he got to about 500 feet, he started doing a running motion with his legs. He pumped as fast as he could. Right when he hit the ground the most unbelivable thing happened.

His legs hit the ground and in a perfect move, ran out of the potential fall to death! It was amazing, they said he was running like 40 mph. He then ran all way back to base at that speed and now he's sitting here helping me pack for my trip to Cape Canaveral, where I am going to be going up into space to study farming at 0 gravity.

lol, I love how everyone has a best friend/family member that is a SEAL yet less than 1% of the Navy actually fall under SOCOM. Im not saying you guys are lying, I just find it to be hilarious (then again i do live in Norfolk)
