Who can cut, drill, and stake turrets to a custom layout? I think MojoTone does. Anybody else?
Hoffman amps will make you a custom turret board from your layout done in " DIYLC " which is a free downloadable amp layout program.

I've used this service a few times, and have been very happy with the results.
I could make my own, but before I go whole hog and get all the tools and supplies, I want to have one made as a proof of concept.
I've always done my own, you're basically looking at a drill press and one custom / specialty bit to do the staking for each turret size you plan to use.
I typically do my layouts on graph paper... should probably go more high-tech on that lol
Super easy to do yourself with a punch and a hammer. G10 board from aliexpress, turrets from digikey. Sit the turret inside a 10mm socket and punch it from the back
Yeah, forget the hammer. Go get yourself a cheap bench top drill press and press the turrets onto the anvil.Yeah I've got the tools (stake, anvil, hammer) and the above pictured board and turrets. Been trying to test fit a few turrets and tried staking one but didn't really work very well. I might try going outside and doing it on concrete instead of a table. A drill press would certainly make it easier.
Nah I totally used graph paper too.
I just got a perf board from AES/Tubesand more that will work perfectly. I just gotta figure out how to swage these turrets. I got the punch/anvil to go with them. But I don't have a drill press or vice. Is it possible to do it freehand with just the punch and a hammer?

LOL I found humor in the use of a healthy relationship book to hammer turrets! I feel like my relationship with guitar gear and amp modding/building isn't very healthy. The board looks cool btw. I hope to do a turret board build one day.I got 'er done! I used an old hardcover book on healthy relationships and a felt mat I use for cleaning my guns lol. Worked quite well.
BTW, the perf boards from Tubes and More/AES and turrets are very nice.
