i had the poll about the Hamer Standards.


i'm gonna get one, just gotta decide new or used, and have thought about avoiding the Christmas shipping cluster fuck. seems like lots of stuff gets beat up in the shipping rush.

They are easy to find as you probably know. You shouldn't have to look too hard to find one with a one-piece body either. My standard is a one-piece and it sustains and rings unplugged like a MOFO.

They need to bring back the Californian. I played one in 93 I still wish I would have bought.

they are easy to find, but i don't really like the pickguards and untill this thread had only found used ones with the pickguard.

That is to damn nice looking. Please post a review, photos and a vid if you can. I just read that those are chambered. I wonder if they are still tight and as focused as the solid body exploreres. I had a Les Paul Elegant. It seemed a little less focused in the mids than the solidbody version.
