Who has tried McGuire/Valley Arts guitar ft. Shawn Tubbs

Anyone tried one of these out? I guess the guitars builder is the son of the original Valley Arts builder. I think it sounds pretty good, although, Tubbs makes everything sound good.

I have. They are very nice instruments. John is a great guy. I was really into First Act Custom Shop for years and he was one of the head builders there too. He finished up a few guitars for me that were leftover from the Custom Shop days and they were all stellar too.

I thought a lot more guys here would have tried these. I want to try one.

I am really surprised that not many more have. I know John builds them fairly regularly. These are kind of right up this forum's alley. I really can't recommend John enough honestly. He's become a good friend over the years, and he really does care and give his absolute all on every instrument. Family legacy and all. They might be a bit pricey, but totally worth it.
