Those are the Groove Tubes Mullard design they released 5 or six years ago with much fanfare, but many had motor boating issues and failures.

Yes, Ive tried these SHORT plates before.. I'm using them right now and they sound pretty good- hows that tough guy?

No offense but I would recommenced Laura at Valve Queen over Doug's. I bought a quad of power tubes and one shattered in shipping. Before Doug would replace that broken tube, he wanted the broken tube shipped back to him. Then have me pay shipping to not only get that broken tube back to him but to also ship my replacement tube.
