I have a Tonestyler installed on an HSS guitar, with SD vintage rails and a blues trembucker. The Tonestyler is also connected to a 25k pot that rolls off the frequencies specified by the tonestyler position. Basically, I'm finding that when the tonestyler is bypassed, things are too bright, and the frequencies that the TS rolls off in other positions sound unnatural, for lack of a better term; just somewhat unmusical to me. Anyone share this experience, or am I just too tuned in to the way a normal tone pot rolls off frequencies?
