I am just curious about a non wood guitar, how does it sound, play, etc.

Buddy has one. Played it a bunch. The weird thing about it is it sustains like a motherfucker.
Rando specs include SS frets, compound radius, SD Jazz/Custom pickups, Richlite board, Hipshot bridge and tuners, Graphtech nut. C shaped neck but thin, like 19-22mm from 1st-12th fret. Wiring is really nicely done, frets were finished well. It has a weird blue marble finish that looks sick in person but sucks ass in photos.
It's a nice guitar, plays really well. I'm a fan, and would own one if $ were no object. I'd put it on par with the PRS I bought from you and match it up close to even with my RGA121, which is in the top 3 of best guitars I've ever played.
Honestly from where we were 20 years ago it's kind of amazing where we are now for custom guitars. I think you'd dig it Mike.

I spent a few days with a friends and the build quality was incredible. Heavier than I thought it would be but if I was into their aesthetic I would probably order one. Wish someone would make something more classically styled with the modern materials.

I have one on order. So I can't really be of any help. But they interested me enough to take a chance. I'd imagine it'd be similar to my current Mayones Duvells. Only, you know... made of super cool futuristic putty.

I have serious gas for one. I'd love to get a 060 or 070, but have a Skervesen build in progress and too many other things I want as well....life is just too short.

I have never played one so I can't really help but I became friends with a guy who I sold my AX8 to and he has two of them, along with many many other awesome items.
I did ask him and he confirmed...In his opinion Aristides are everything they are cracked up to be and more.

I have had several of them and played a few more. They have a ton of sustain, but in general, sound like the pickup set that is in them and not much past that. Not a bad thing, just expect great sustain and choose your favorite pickup set to go in it. Build quality is incredibly good, the company is terrific to work with, finish work is impeccable. I love the headstock but the body was a little big for my liking. Fretwork on all of them has been impeccable. Definitely worth a try if you like that futuristic look!

How does the BW compare to the Nazgul?
I'm hesitant to try the BW because the output is so high. I typically don't like high-output pickups because of the way they couple to the input of the amp. I prefer to let the amp do all the work when it comes to drive and saturation.
I'm pretty happy with the Omega and Nazgul right now. I just figured I'd try something different for this guitar since it's a custom order. Right now it's either the Aristides BKP Customs, Nazgul/Sentient, or Alpha/Omega.
