Who ordered the Ukrainian eBay amp?

They looked really cool on ebay. I think a forum bro pulled the trigger on one and I was curious if he got it out of that war zone or not.

I have ordered several 12AX7 / ECC83's (probably 8-10 separate orders) from Ukraine, during the "time of war"........no issues with shipping in the least.
 
well it's certainly easier than getting Russian Standard vodka in the US. :mad:

Ukraine’s a large country. Most of the damage and devastation is in the Eastern regions. Good on ya for supporting their economy..?
 
And good on them for having the NOS stuff that I want to buy...... :ROFLMAO:

I have made a few acquaintances over the years while buying NOS tubes and electronic parts, whether from Ukraine, or other neighboring countries. These acquaintances all seem to have different backgrounds and views, but all have commented that the US should not rely on ANY of our major news channels, for coverage of the current conflict.

I have a friend that went over there for a bit when it first started. It looks weird. There would be blocks just demolished then a few blocks over people hanging out in nice parks with flowers. He would have to get permission to post stuff. The Ukrainians didn't want him posting stuff that would give away positions and what not.
 
I could probably find the thread where dude said he ordered one. But our search function sucks and I’m lazy. Hopefully he’ll see this and chime in.

Went through 5 pages of reviews and all were for pickup stickers and one was for an amp. Hope our forum bro gets his amp…and it’s badass….

Seems there are enough ways to get people and goods out of Ukraine.

My friend works in Kyiv and visits home couple times a year.

And I got a couple of rather big packages from there this february.
