Hey LP Freak, what prompted you to sell it?LP Freak":1jh0igdn said:I had the EL34 version and it was great. I'm really surprised these amps don't get talked about more.![]()
Pros:
Its loud, but very controled-not noisey.
It has a great rounded mid section that doesnt get lost.
The lows are full and rounded.
It does have great stick gain, not saturated though.
I havnt tried the channels while playing, because i didnt get the pedal cable yet.
Cons:
It weighs almost 70lbs...ON ONE FREAKIN SIDE!
All in all, is really has great tonal clarity at low volumes, and at the volume i ran it at practice. It doesnt distort, hiss or get noisey. I would have the say this amp has massive tameable power.
And with an OD, botique distortion pedal, or high gain preamp tubes, It would be a wicked metal amp!
