I have been in contact with most of the usual suspects for modding a Marshall JVM 410H and I haven't decided where to send it. Any suggestions?

If the amp isn't giving what you want and you're blindly going the "mod" route, I'd suggest a different approach (either figure out what you want modded, or find a different amp).

If I had one chance, and one choice with one amp, it would be

That's what I've done with my JMP... no complaints here.

I've spent some time with it and it sounds really great but I would like it to be a little less harsh on top and have a more singing lead quality if possible. I LOVE the mid voicing. I can get the amp at a really low price and it is about 80% there. It may even be there now if I spent a bit more time with it but I have a feeling for what I want it to do it would benefit from a better transformer and a little tweak in the high end to take some of the buzziness out of it.
