Arrived alive and well from Canada. We shipped this one double boxed and in an SKB ATA case....

59 Replica and it is way past awesome. Plugged into a Plexi yesterday and didn't stop for about 8 hours. A pleasure to play and own. Neck size, Brazilian board, fretwork, balance and tone are over the top. Pickguard off and strap loks on....

Sweet Bro!!!

Just got done running the Kami thru the ringer tonite....not 8 hours....
but a good 5. :D

Congrats man.....shes a beauty.

Okay Steve, fill me in here. Is this your repaired guitar or something else, when you say Canada I think of TB?

That is about as cool as it gets ..... perfect.

Beautiful, hope you're gonna post some clips dude!!!

Awesome Steve! Just curious, did you change out a pickup or take off the pickup cover?

This is not the repaired one. It's still in the shop getting done up. If it is anywhere near as good as this one, then I'll have two killer 59's. It came to me just as you see it, except for the pickguard.

The top and finish look awesome. It looks like resonance

Came that way. Requested the bridge PU uncovered. They are Sheptone Tributes.

Looks killer Steve!!! , love the mineral streaks,,,tell us a little more about it, conversion,,made from scratch,,whats up! Being a little more of a metalhead, how do you like the Tributes?

Made from scratch, 59 spec. It is a nice change from the norm for me. I got a lot of classic rock in me though...

The Sheps are nice in my Marshall. Really good in the Plexi set up. Pretty good in the VH4. Less good in the D-Moll. I haven't looked up any of the specs yet, but I imagine they are in the 8-9 ohms range. So, they will load up quickly.

As you would expect, and Darrel knows (especially with his hard nipples), the guitar is a magnificent piece of work. An absolute pleasure to play and some good eye candy too... :D

Sweet!

Didn't react fast enough to get the other one he had available, but sent a check for my own order. Bought a vintage wiring harness with Centralab pots, original black beauty caps, pointer washers and nuts, 3-way switch with cream tip and output jack that I'm sending to him to use on his recommendation.

Now I just have to wait two years...

I just recieved the newer (older?) Bartlett rings and pick guard from Tom. F'ing amazing!! Tom was using Throbaks when he made mine and was nice enough to send me his new ones ASAP. They look and smell amazing! I will post some pics soon before I install them.

This is a blip from an email convo that I had with Tom about my guitar. Thought I would post it for anybody sitting on the fence about ordering one. I actually got a lump in my throat whilst I read it

"Your guitar is all old growth, all the exact correct glues, dye, lacquer, binding etc. it's all exact to burst specs. It could not be any closer to the real thing."

Tom

Congrats Steve on joining the Bartlett club!!! I'm happy for you!
Your guitar looks KILLER!

I have mine loaded with Throbak pickups, never tried the Sheptone...

You'll be selling that Yaron fast enough! This is the real deal!

What did you dislike about the Yaron that you played that lead you to believe that Bartlett does it better?
