I have roughly $250 in all of from trading shit I didn’t want. I always wanted to try a hondo just because they are Mij. Just detailed it and sanded the frets as well as oiled the board. Tuners work but they are plastic. Frets are tiny…. Neck is flat so needs tweaking, getting ready to fire it up and see how Japanese plywood from the late 70’s sounds.

The crate fired up and was super quiet. The striker 100st is great…. The 400st is kinda rough but I will get to it eventually.

The hondo is not bad. Needs frets and tuners but plays great and sounds okay….action is great…..
