Yup… 1968 Kalamazoo kg-1….. made by Gibson in the Kalamazoo plant. Same pickup and electronics as the melody maker. Luckily this one has a mahogany body instead of mdf. Maple neck, rosewood board…. All original except the tuners and I have the old ones in the case. Different knobs… so not all original…. Neck is straight and action is excellent. 24” scale according to the interwebz so we will see how it does in a little bit. Perfect for NEO OR ANTIQUUS SOUL…

Not sure if I mentioned it but it has a set of 8’s on it…. Ole dad might be switching to 8’s…. Feel great… at least on this guitar anyway…. I honestly have to say this thing is a little ripper…. With a refret and another pickguard loaded with pickups and pots…. This thing would hang. If I keep it I’ll refret it. Right now it’s on par with the fretless wonders of yesteryear….
