There are very few companies making Set Neck 25.5" Scale Superstrat Guitars and very few of the companies that make the nice, prefretted necks like USA Custom , Warmoth, or even Carvin ( who sells great neck blanks, pre fretted) make a 25.5" Scale neck with extra length for a long tenon Set Neck. They say not enough requests to make the longer neck blanks profitable.

I know Suhr is coming out with some Set Necks and PRS has the 305- anyone else you know of making these type of guitars, especially way less than $3000. ?

Alternatively- if a well known manufacturer of necks was making longer blanks for set necks- I could have a Luthier build a set neck with the precision of a pre-made CNC accurate fretboard and fretwork and maybe only spend $1500. or so.

Anyone know of any builders / manufacturers doing either of these?

Thanks. EDIT: Carvin is NOT making set neck 25.5" scale guitars they are 25" scale ( nice though).

Also Schecter and Jackson, unless I'm not understanding your question.....which is entirely possible :D

"neck-thru" or "set-neck"(ala LP glued in)

Neck-thru - Gutierrez! best neck joint out there, no heel at all, complete fret access, etc... IMBO. ;)

Yeah ESP has a bunch of 25.5 set necks with the heel shaved down like a neck through, "set-through" and Schecter has a bunch too really cheap.

I have a Baker Neck Thru B3 Metal on the way. 25.5 scale, should be a killer axe. Looks like this
