Lots of people do.
Vio-Lence had great music, but for me what really puts them over the top (both quality and presentation wise) is Killian's vocals. Instantly identifiable.

What metalowns says, I'm sure to a degree they do inspire some youngsters to pick up an instrument, which is important. What Code said is right, most bands do not insult their fans. If you ask me, if you insult your fans, you should not be allowed to be a band or ever be in one again, as fans are what bands live on, without them, a band is nothing. Trivium are just a bunch of conceited jackasses with no respect for anything but themselves. They need a big shoe up their ass.

As I Lay Dying's latest release, An Ocean Between Us is actually very good.
I can't say the same for their previous albums though. Those were pretty bad.
Trivium, never liked them. I saw them on the LoG tour and the crowd was booing them and saluting Heafey with middle fingers for the entire set. Heafy got all pissy and started spitting on the heads of the youg kids in the front row. A real class act. They did have good guitar tones at that show though. Gorija was the best band of the night though.
