It seems they have limited stk on the other egnater amps too? It's like one of each on the floor, and thats it, except by me, No tourmaster heads? I'm in Northern NJ so the paramus and totawa stores. whats up? GC is goin down IMHO no stk and whats there looks beat up and dirty.IMHO

They are doing much less stocking in house. With their return policy ordering online or being able to have one shipped into the store in a day is easier for them. Its not just Egnater stuff. GC is also had rollbacks on the amount of stores they have and from my understanding there will be less stores in the coming years.

They are only keeping in the store stuff that flies out the door. It may be easier for them but it is a pain when you want to try out something and "checking it out on YouTube" isn't good enough.

I also have a sneaking suspicion that the Tourmaster is being discontinued as they roll out Armaggeddon and Vengeance- if they ever do! How many hundred watt monsters do they need to offer, anyway?

thanks guys, I agree with all you guys said. It's sad really, I use to spend my saturday or sunday there, trying stuff, getting away from all the BS. I never got to try a tourmaster, I still hope they come out with a lighter 50 watt one.

That would be awesome. The TM is a heavy beast!

I suspect- with no facts to back me up- that the Tourmaster is the least selling of the line. I wouldn't hold my breath on a 50-watter. Why should they, when you can set the current model for 50 watts? If there is a way to lighten it that would be good.

I might have gotten the Rebel 30 2 X 12 but- not in stock, can't check it out. Same thing with the Renegade 1 X 12, which has the front mounted controls that I prefer and is lighter than the 2 X 12.

It is annoying and I think it ultimately undermines sales of many items.

It's the old GM problem- too many models that compete with themselves. You have to be careful of it.

such an underrated amp to....can do ANY style of sound. seriously.

Awesome head. I think the biggest complaint is the weight, and why you don't see too many much anymore, since tourmaster, is more of a backbreaker.

i really like it though

No plans of discontinuing the Tourmaster. We unfortunately have no real control over what GC wants to keep in stock though. They are hurting as much as many other companies, so stock has to be scaled back, and they are definitely focusing on quick sale items. Any of our amps can obviously be special ordered through them if they aren't on the floor though.

Glad to hear the Tourmaster is being kept. It wouldn't be beyond me to get another one someday. That's the problem though. Some thinsg you just have to try them out live before buying them. I don't know where that fine line is, but I think it does cost some sales of some things.

:( :scared:
