The mods at TGP are way uptight and power hungry. I don't think they get power anywhere else but by being Mods. I can take or leave it but I do love the emporium. TGP has by far the best classifieds on the net. However I can't access them. Get this I just got suspended for year and a half because I said it was ridiculous that TGP charged it's members to use the emporium. I then compared it to the "Great Washington Machine". So they decided to ban me for 1 1/2 years. Talk about uptight and taking yourself to seriously give me a break. However I do like alot of the members over there but the guys over here really play my kind of music more. So in the end I don't miss not being able to post but I do miss the ability to access the classifieds.

Carl from Tone Merchants goes by the name Fusionbear on here, not to be confused with Fuzzbox aka Carl Fiadino - the biggest internet dickhead on the face of the planet. Fiadino literally thinks he's Hendrix, yet he lives with his mom at the age of 53.

Fusionbear is a really nice guy. Dealt with him quite a bit over at TGP, and he's given me some great tips for my Carol-Ann.

You want to get shot at TGP? That's easy. Post a clip of "Politician" played through anything other than Tag's magical $40K Dumble and be prepared for the sacrifice.

yeah, and forget the fact that it was ORIGINALLY recorded with a Gibson & Marshall... thats completely beside the point.

I'd MUCH rather have a 'Wreck than a Dumble anyday (well as long as that day was the day I won the lottery cause otherwise I wouldn't get either!). I'm surprised so many over there get so excited over the Dumbles (as if his name were Howard Viagra Dumble), but the Trainwrecks are like meh....

The funny thing about this is if this guy REALLY knew Jeff Beck like he claims, he would know that Jeff Beck has off nights every now and then, and like Tim Bogart told me personally many years ago "when Jeff's off, he's off. When he's on, he's really on" Beck is famous for having bad gigs and a good sense of humor about it. He would have a bad gig and kick and bash his amp and bitch about it being his amp's fault, etc., etc. when he knew, as did everyone else, that the amp had nothing to do with it. Very tongue-in-cheek. I heard at least one story like this directly from Tim Bogart when I was a student at MI where he taught.
