Why this forum no like Charvels? They don't sell is my point

I've always liked Charvels and Jackson. Although the Charvels have a better tone imo. The maple Vigier Excalibur neck is similar to the Charvel maple neck, but for me, just kills it. If you love the Charvel neck, you have to check out the Vigier neck.

What are you talking about?

This is like THE Charvel forum.

Scott, you had me very nervous looking at them guitars leaning on them cabinets. I want to see the slime green so post when she comes in.

Will do, before and after green meanie work

That's nothing, I sheared a volume pot off my Hamer several months ago sliding the thing down a mic stand
Are you giving the greenie the Vai look?

I don't get it, have had a killer custom shop Charvel up for weeks and nothing. These guitars kill, and nobody seems to get it!!!! They are some of the best playing super strats, well the original super strats in the first place, and that includes even the new ones. I am at a loss here. Someone help me!

Are you kidding me? This is the Charvel + Modded Marshall forum. Fuck I'd change the name from Rig-Talk to Charvel/Marshall-talk.
It's like stepping around dog poop trying to find threads not about Charvels around here. :D

I tried a few of the new Charvels at a local store...weren't for me...and they just look way too 80's for me.
The 80's were fun! But it's over now...and I'm OK with that. :D

Lotsa Charvel talk around here IMO.

Not for me, as they are not Rickenbackers. ;) Now, you want to talk about a guitar that gets no love here, Rickenbackers are at the top of that list IMO. YMMV

Shit...I think I just offended most of the forum....sorry.

Who cares what you play as long as you dig it.

Are you being serious? This forum is a Charvel Guitar Lovers micro site. There are a handful of killer players that own and "endorse" Charvels (Scott, Ralph, Dave, Pete and Curt come to mind). Welcome to the club!

What a killer picture! The guitars look great as does the kitchen. Our kitchen has a similar aged white cabinetry with stainless steel appliances.

Edit**
Started reading through and realized I echoed what everyone already said.

I'm not ok with that, that hurts man

It's like superman turning in his cape

OMG U R STOOPID I LIKE THEM 2

Don't own one, never played one, but I'd love to do both. And judging by some of the pics I've seen of them, I'd do dirty, dirty things.

Yes , I love my Charvel. I want another one badly , but until then I have my trusty old strat that is set up almost like a charvel. The necks on the Charvels are just friggin awesome

It's tough to play "Turn Me Loose" on a Charvel.

Man I'm right there with ya. I want one of these so bad. Someday it will be mine.

I guess the way I should've said the original statement was like this: I don't see or know about many Charvels SELLING, like actually being purchased on this forum. Not that they aren't for sale. They just don't seem to sell, but I am basing that off the limited knowledge I have from what I can see and find out. It seems like Suhr and Les Pauls are what get the most actual completed sales around here. Not a criticism, just my observation. I've been trying to sell a custom shop Charvel from 2007 on here for months. It's down to like $850 now and no one has hardly sniffed it. That led me to believe that the RT guys weren't much into them. Make more sense? ;)

Dude - not many used guitars are selling here or anywhere. I think it is mainly the economy - it is a buyer's market for sure for anything now. Look at my $550-650 Charvel replicas with better quality wood than most real Charvel Custom Shops - haven't moved those either. Your guitar is a pointy and the paint job is really a Jackson paint scheme not identified with Charvel - this makes it less desirable to a lot of people. Personally I think it is a very cool guitar, but those are the facts... economy and that particular guitar... same with mine. People are creaming over my blood splatter clone, "if only it didn't have the blood splatter..." Hang in there, someone will eventually greab it and don't come down anymore on price. I'm at my bottom line now on my stuff for sale and for any less, they can sit unplayed in my closet...

Steve
