It's probably one of two things: The string gauge vs number of springs vs spring tension. I've found the older Floyd's stayed in tune better when using 9's and only TWO springs, but the newer Floyd's, I'm always having to use THREE springs. I don't know if it's slightly deeper post slots, heavier steel, the block may be slightly shifted one way or the other, the holes in the block may be drilled a 1/32" farther forward or back. Whatever the case, they're different. Could even be the quality of the springs.
And/or it's your truss rod. Check and make sure your truss rod is NOT loose. I've found many trem guitars that when strung up and tuned, they play & perform just fine with the nut loose, but as soon as you dive, they never comes back up the same.
