I think electro harmonix has it now. It was an oldy from way back I built it and liked it better than a rangemaster type thing. It had a cool upper mid, way upper mid spike. very vocal treble type booster. its easy to build too. like 5 parts on the board.

I've often thought about calling him again but I feel as if Ive been there done that. Everytime I've reached out to him I've gotten a bunch of lies or excuses and the end result has always been the same. I think the real problem is that he tried to reverse engineer the pedal and he screwed something up or mispaced some parts and that's the real reason behind all of this BS. The real thing that sucks is that it was an original first seried CC pedal and they are no longer being made.

I thought he was a cool guy too but there definitely is a flake factor with him.

I don't know what the outcome was but rumor has it that Curt is not to keen on John anymore....HMMMMMm I can't say that I know if that rumor is true but it sure sounds like it could be and I would not doubt it .

So in other words, Id feel confident that he would do right by you but I just wanted people to know that his past record when he had nothing to lose wasn't that great lol

If you do decide to go with him, Id use every availble precaution just to keep him on the up and up. Paypal would be a good way to go with the protection plan and most definitely get a signed sig for delivery.

Jon Wilder is close to finishing my Marshall amp mod. He sends me pictures and updates every other day. Has been great to deal with!
He wants half of the money for parts to start the mod and the other half when he is done and ready to ship the amp back , all thru Paypal.
So far Jon has been great to deal with and has answered atleast 20 questions of mine.

I think he is going to get really busy once the word gets around. If you are thinking it, I would recommend getting an amp to him to mod before the wait time gets crazy long like Cameron.

Gain Freak, I sent you a PM .... Jon wants your e-mail or phone number or for you to contact him so he can make things right with you. Sounds like the pedal issue happened around 2004, and he ended up going on a tour and neglected to take care of a few things before he left.

While I was talking to Jon, he admitted to not handling business as good as he should've years ago when trying to start his business back in 2004 I believe he said.
I believe he will do extremely well this time around though. Check out how neat his work is in his pictures on his website. And the soundclips are great and not nearly as good as it would sound in person.

As I said before, Jon is a great guy to deal with and I'm pretty sure I will have my perfect 2 channel Marshall when I get it back and I will post my true thoughts in a couple weeks on the modded Marshall.

It's just the principal of the thing and actually you might want to check your sources because.... More then a few people do mind.
With that said, I don't consider Daves Marsha a Kit because he doesn't use all Metro Parts. I consider Dave using Metro as a parts vendor
